Our Approach

We have learned over the years that no consulting advice or project is effective unless a client "owns" and can deliver the outcomes. To deliver outcomes means there needs to be "buy-in" to any answers proposed. Our philosophy is to have ALL our work "owned" by clients.

We work closely with our clients to understand their issues and before commencing any work, identify key owners at a sponsorship and detail level to ensure recommended outcomes can be internally delivered and refined over time.

Our consulting approach is twofold:

  • We facilitate internal teams with the design and delivery of their own strategies, providing guidance in process and problem solving techniques and overseeing the overall strategy or project to ensure business discipline is maintained; however we
  • Step into the detail on an "as needed" basis, delivering the harder analysis, and having hands on involvement in project work, ensuring a clear handover of any work done by us to clients for ongoing management to maintain client ownership.

We work with internal teams to help clients:

  • diagnose focus strategy areas
  • create initial strategy hypotheses
  • test initial strategy through rigourous market and internal analysis
  • identify, rank and prioritise strategy options
  • prepare implementation plans supported by key performance targets
  • obtain sign-off by senior management and buy-in to outcomes proposed
  • facilitate implementation delivery and monitoring

Our private equity and due diligence work is practical with deliverables flexible to adjust to deal timelines. Work includes:

  • market assessments
  • strategic advice on acquisition fit
  • financial modelling and analysis to determine deal value
  • post-acquisition support

Our clients value our approach, and we have as a result maintained long term relationships based on consistent delivery of output that can be actioned.
